Ultrasound Digital offers private, precise urinary tract examinations, kidney stone detection, and monitoring for various conditions of your bladder wall via advanced ultrasound scans.
Our experienced sonographers ensure a seamless and pain-free testing process. The Kidney, Ureters & Bladder ultrasound scan, uses high-frequency sound waves, for a thorough examination, revealing the size, character, and shape of the organs in your urinary tract as the kidney, ureter and bladder. This radiation-free and safe process is recommended for those experiencing symptoms like abdominal pain, blood in urine, or discomfort during passing water. The scan may detect cysts, obstructions, tumours, abscesses, or kidney infections.
Please inform us of any known prior health conditions before your scan. For our outpatient bladder ultrasound scans you will need hydration with a litre of water, before the appointment. Scans can be done on an empty bladder as well. If abnormalities are detected (as kidney stones), further tests ( as x rays) may be recommended by your GP and/or additional treatment options discussed. Please share your results with your GP or healthcare provider.
