- If you are on your period, you can still get an endometrial thickness ultrasound scan; just make sure to take off your pad or tampon first.
- To allow us to access your vagina for the scan, you will be asked to take off the bottom half of your clothing in private
- You will then be given a sterile sheet (modesty sheet) to cover ypur legs and lower belly as you lie on your back or side in the examination couch
- Please keep in mind that you should always listen your doctor’s advice if you are undergoing reproductive treatment, including taking any prescribed drugs.
